Patrick attended law school at Osgoode Hall, York University and began practicing law in 1975. Prior to becoming a lawyer, he obtained his Honours Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education at the University of Western Ontario.
Prior to obtaining his law degree and practicing law, he was an English and History teacher at Aldershot Secondary School where he also coached their hockey team. He returned to teaching in 2001 for a brief period of time where he taught literacy at Parkview High School and then English as a Second Language at Glendale Secondary School. During his time at Glendale, he also coached soccer, which he really enjoyed.
Since 2001, Patrick has been advocating almost exclusively for personal injury victims including those involved in motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall, and numerous other personal injuries. His practice also includes disability insurance litigation and other insurance-related matters. He is an experienced lawyer having presented cases at all court levels in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Appeal. He also enjoys mentoring articling students and other members of the Findlay team.
Patrick is a loving husband, proud father, and an involved grandfather to two grandchildren. When he is not working, he is often supporting his children and grandfather whether it’s to see them sing, perform a musical instrument, or play hockey and soccer. He is cheering them on and supporting them whenever possible. He has participated successfully in many tournaments in both handball and racquetball, and in his spare time, he also enjoys going to sporting events, snowshoeing with his wife, and spending time with friends and family.
